RISHI THEME (Storefront vs Rishi)
The Rishi Theme has a perfect rating so far...
In this Rishi Theme review we take a look at the most important features of this theme . It has recently made a rapid rise to a high listing on Wordpress.org. This suggests that we are dealing with a very good theme here.

Rishi theme review: Rating
If we check Rishi's rating on Wordpress.org, we see that at the moment all raters are given 5 stars to have. That will not remain the case, but it is a sign that this theme is well liked by everyone.
Rishi theme review: Demos
The Rishi theme offers a series of beautiful demos that can be installed with 1 click. The choice is more than large for a new theme. You have no less than 80+ different demos at your disposal, which are practically all made with Elementor. So you can immediately continue working on it with Elementor as soon as you have installed such a demo.
The nice thing about demos is that you can make a quick start with them. The website is all but with the wrong photos and texts in principle. So place your logo in it, adjust texts and photos and you are well on your way to having your own site.
Rishi theme review: Webshops
I count a total of six demos for web shops. The theme is 100% compatible with Woocommerce, but if you are going to build a webshop then choose a theme like Astra or another theme from my top 10 for webshop themes. With the Rishi theme you can certainly build a good webshop, but there is simply better than this.
Rishi theme review: Speed
The Rishi theme is one of the fastest themes out there for Wordpress with a load time of half a second and a code of 90kb and might be in my list for fastest WP- themes should be there. The bare theme without additional plugins with just a well-configured cache plugin produced the result presented above. Of course you can optimize your website yourself for loading time. Follow this tutorial here.
Rishi theme review: Pagebuilders
The Rishi theme uses Elementor and Gutenberg, but is compatible with all the other elite page builders out there for Wordpress.
Rishi theme: HeaderBuilder
Rishi offers a real drag & drop HeaderBuilder that gives you practically no limits when it comes to building your header. Technical knowledge such as HTML or PHP is not necessary for this, a child can do the laundry.
Rishi Theme Typography Options
The Rishi theme also has some beautiful font options. You can quickly change the look of your website by changing the background, font, and color. You can also create your own color palettes. You can customize the typography on your site locally or globally. You can change the font, font size, and line spacing to suit your needs.
Rishi's Blog Lay-outs
Richi is at home in all markets and certainly suitable for building a good blog. Multiple blog layouts are available with a few simple clicks. It is important for a blog to have a nice layout, it must load very fast, and it must have rich snippets. Richi meets all these requirements.
Rishi's Web Technology
The Rishi Theme is built on the React framework, the latest technology that also ensures a faster website. JQuery has also been replaced by the more modern and faster Vanilla Javascript. You probably have no idea what this all means but just take it from me it's great. These are top features, especially for a new theme.
Rishi: More features
Rishi also offers the following features that I will not go into further: Transparent headers, live editing, custom fonts, Google Fonts, a very good SEO with Schema MarkUp, 100% Responsive on all devices, Sticky Header, CSS Pre-loading, Footer Builder.
Rishi theme review: Conclusion
I think the Rishi theme is a very good theme. The demo layouts are great, the theme setup is quick and easy, and it has an antisocial load time. The theme is also very suitable for building shops and even offers 6 different demos for it. There is more to say about Rishi, but I want to keep it short and sweet. To find out more, take a look at their site via the links below. The pro version is definitely good value for money, although I might rather spend that money on one of the themes in my top 10 for WP themes this year.
STOREFRONT THEME (Storefront vs Rishi)
Storefront is the default theme of Woocommerce...
In this Storefront Theme review we take a look at whether the theme that Woocommerce itself released to work with their E-commerce plug-in is actually a good product. One of the things that immediately struck me is that extensions have to be purchased for a number of functions of Woocommerce. This does not necessarily have to be a problem, because there are many themes with a free version that are very good but do not offer 100% functionality.
STOREFRONT: RATING
If we check on Wordpress.org Storefront's rating, we see that practically all raters 5 stars gave up except for a few haters. The average score is 4.4 which is a good score, but there are themes with almost 5/5 so it is not really impressive. The theme is currently installed on 200,000+ websites (active installs), which is a pretty high number for a minimalist theme.
STOREFRONT: DEMOS
As a free theme, the Storefront theme does not offer demos, which are also not really necessary. But if you want a different design, the Storefront Child Themes that Woocommerce offers might be a good alternative. I'll say right away that these cost about $40 each and basically you can get a good Woocommerce theme like WP-Astra. There are 2 free Child Themes, called Deli and Boutique.
STOREFRONT THEME REVIEW: WEBSHOPS
Logically, the theme is 100% compatible with Woocommerce, and is only suitable for building webshops. It is theoretically possible to create a blog or corporate site with it, but the theme is not intended for that. I recommend getting one of the top Woo-themes for that.
STOREFRONT: SPEED
The Storefront theme is one of the fastest themes out there for Wordpress and should actually be in my list for fastest Woocommerce themes, but then again, the theme should also be a star which is not the case. The bare theme with no extra plugins with just an optimized cache plugin produced the result presented above. Of course you can optimize your website yourself for loading time. Follow this advice here.
STOREFRONT: PAGE BUILDERS
The Storefront theme uses the Gutenberg page builder by default, but is compatible with Elementor Pro, and all the other elite page builders out there for Wordpress.
STOREFRONT: SHOP PAGES EXAMPLES
A Website built with Storefront is 100% responsive on all devices, fully compatible with Woocommerce and all its extensions. Below are some layouts from the demo shop for Storefront. Everything looks good, but as said before, there are themes that are much, much better to build a shop with such as Divi or Astra.
STOREFRONT: PAID AND FREE EXTENSIONS
There are a total of 11 special plug-in extensions that have been developed especially for Storefront. Of these extensions, 4 are free, the rest can be purchased (something I wouldn't do). The 4 free plug-ins are: Product sharing buttons, Contact Section on the Homepage, Hamburger Menu and an extra Footerbar.
STOREFRONT THEME REVIEW: CONCLUSION
The Storefront theme certainly does its job well as free theme and is very suitable for building shops with Woocommerce. It was made for that, so it's not surprising that it works well. However, there are much better themes that also work perfectly with Woocommerce, the free versions of which are also better than Storefront.
RISHI VS STOREFRONT CONCLUSION
Thanks for reading this Rishi vs Storefront comparison to the end. Rishi is one of the fastest themes out there, it contains everything one could wish for but does not exaggerate with settings. This theme is a joy to work with in combination with Elementor Pro. Storefront is a good theme for creating shops, but it absolutely cannot be compared with Rishi.
