Installing X-Store Theme is very easy. The theme does not have a free version so you will have to buy it first and it can simply be installed via the standard Wordpress theme installer.
It is recommended to install one of the many ready-to-go designs. X-Store offers no less than 100+ webshop demos. These are beautiful complete designs for web shops in many niches such as furniture, tools, clothing, etc. In addition, there are 350+ complete sections that you can use in your designs.
X-Store Theme comes standard with the Bakery Pagebuilder and the Elementor page builder. Elementor is one of the best page builders out there and especially when we talk about the pro version, so it certainly stands out for my choice. But all 100+ shop demos have both an Elementor and Bakery version as seen above, the choice is yours.

We perform a speed test on X-Store under quite optimal conditions, so with cache plug-in and all images optimized. This theme does not indicate that it is specialized on loading times, but the results are excellent as can be seen in the image below.

X-Store is so specialized in the webshop that if you are looking for a theme for a different type of project such as a blog or company website, I would certainly choose another theme.

There is nothing bad to say about this theme. This is one of the best themes there is to build web shops and it is rising in the rankings and it is better with every upgrade. It works perfectly with the Elementor page builder and that's great too. Yet it is true that, as I indicated in the chapter for the price above, that boss is boss.
The perfect theme for shops & websites is Divi and Astra is a very close second. These themes can be installed on multiple sites and the Divi Theme for example costs only $ 89, and comes with the Divibuilder full version! X-Store comes with Elementor, but that's the free version we're talking about, not the pro version.
TOTAL THEME (Total vs X-Store)
The Total Theme has been around since 2013 and has had little fame until now. After some radical improvements, the theme is now on its way to a good position in the rankings for best selling themes on Themeforest.net and automatically enjoys more fame.

An average rating of 4.86 out of 5 is very good in this marketplace and in general too. It is therefore not surprising that more than 50,000+ units have been sold in the meantime. The best rating I know is 4.93 which is Divi scores and that is not on a marketplace but on Trustpilot a reliable independent rating.

In this Total Theme review, let me start by paying attention to their demo websites. In the introduction image at the very top you can see how they advertise themselves having 40+ demo websites. Not a very high number in itself, but the fact that they indicate it shows that they are proud of it. These demos are extremely well taken care of and there are real demos for all kinds of niches of a very high quality. I show a few of them below, but feel free to view them all on their own sites.
Total Theme: Section Templates
In addition to the demo websites just discussed, there is an even larger number of section templates at your disposal. Ready-made sections that you like can be dragged into your page. The number of combinations is unlimited. In this way you save a lot of time by not having to build everything yourself.

The theme focuses on the use of the WP-Bakery pagebuilder. This page builder has been around for so long but can still compete with the best pagebuilders. Listen, this is a fantastic theme but you have to pay for it, and then you are better off with other themes on the same marketplace. They offer more value for money. TOTAL VS X-STORE CONCLUSION
First of all, thank you for reading this Total vs X-Store comparison to the end. X-Store is a real Woocommerce theme that one buys to build a shop, Total is more all-round. Both themes load quickly and have very beautiful designs. X-Store's are focused on E-commerce design, making X-Store the better choice for building web shops. I would certainly build a webshop with X-Store, but Total doesn't offer enough for me.
In case you want to provide 2 or more websites with a theme, I do not recommend both of these themes because then it will be much too expensive, since a separate expensive license will be required for each website. In that case, you can much better use Astra or Divi as it will save you money for multiple sites.
