UX-Builder vs Fusion-Builder Test 💥
UX-BUILDER (Fusion-Builder vs UX-Builder)
The UX-Builder is included for free in the Flatsome Theme...
The UX-Builder is an astonishingly good page builder that you may not know about yet. The page builder is not sold separately as a plugin, at least not yet and is therefore only known to those who know the Flatsome Theme. This high-scoring theme is sold through the infamous Themeforest marketplace. You can read my review for the Flatsome Theme here.
UX-BUILDER PAGEBUILDER REVIEW
The UX builder is a responsive front-end page builder, which means that you can work directly on the page, and that for all devices, so mobile, tablet and desktop. Similar page builders are the best out there like Divi, Elementor, Brizy and Beaverbuilder. To work with this kind of page builders absolutely no real web designer skills are needed, they are suitable for everyone. There are of course minor differences between these page builders, so getting used to a new page builder is definitely a process that you have to go through.
The builders of the theme have about 15 different videos available to quickly get acquainted with this product and as support for its users. You can click the blue button with "Preview Item" here on the page to view all find these videos quickly. I will present the most important of these below.
UX-BUILDER REVIEW: ELEMENTS
Themes often advertise about the many elements contained in them, in reality these elements (also called widgets) belong to the page builder. The UX-Builder has about 45 elements in total, a nice number. This includes call-to-action buttons, headings, video, image, sliders, team, counters, and so on. There are page builders with an even greater number of elements, but 45 is already quite a lot. The UX-Builder does not have what is the case with a page builder like Elementor that there are many third parties are those extra elements for sale for sale.
UX-BUILDER: GRIDS (DRAG & DROP)
The UX-Builder offers many special features such as the drag and drop grid builder. Your photo grids can be built very quickly in this way, much faster than before. There are also many options such as zoom as shown below.
The same goes for the slider and banner building system built into the UX-Builder. It all works beautifully, in no time you have put together beautiful sliders. This feature also works with drag & drop.
Although people don't notice this too much, the UX-Builder is built on shortcodes. This makes the editor very fast to work with. An example of what the code looks like is shown below. Of course, it is difficult to switch to another editor since they do not understand the shortcodes produced by Flatsome. However, this applies to most page builders.
UX-BUILDER AND FLATSOME
Of course, as stated before, you get the UX-Builder in the Flatsome Theme. Week after week, this theme takes second place on Themeforest for best-selling themes. So we are dealing here with the combination of a good page builder with a very good theme. There are of course many more advantages to this theme, such as a huge library with demo sections and websites, mega menus and of course not to forget that the theme loads quickly and is perfect for building webshops with Woocommerce. You can read more about the Flatsome Theme here.
UX-BUILDER REVIEW PRICING
A bit of a disadvantage of the theme is that it is not sold via their own website, where they could in principle give big discounts like many other themes do. It is sold through the Themeforest marketplace. The take a lot of money for the mediation which is not really fair and oblige the themes to require a separate expensive license for every website of yours on which you would like to use the theme. This quickly becomes quite expensive.
UX-BUILDER REVIEW CONCLUSION
The UX-Builder is a very good page builder that with some extra work could possibly be sold as a plugin such as Brizy, not the best but certainly good to mention. The number of elements it contains is quite high and the code in which it is written is good and fast. If you want to work with the UX-Builder, you must purchase the Flatsome Theme.
FUSION-BUILDER (Elementor vs Fusion-Builder)
The Fusion-Builder is included for free in the Avada Theme...
The Fusion-Builder has been around for years in the Avada Theme. Although the page builder would certainly be suitable for use as a separate plugin in other themes, that has still not happened. I don't think the contracts they have with Envato allow that though the Fusion Builder could be sold as a plugin through that same marketplace. Well, if you want to work with the Fusion-Builder you need the Avada Theme.
The Fusion builder is a responsive front-end page builder. The page builder works accurately, quickly and well, there is nothing else to say about it. In their own words, Fusion-Builder is the best Front-end Editor. I doubt that very much because in the first place they all say that but I have experience with practically all top page builders and certainly know better ones. I do want to say right away that Fusion-Builder is definitely participating in the top.
FUSION-BUILDER REVIEW: ELEMENTS
The Fusion-Builder counts all together 70+ widgets (also called elements). This is a large number because popular page builders like UX-Builder and Brizy only offer around 45+. I show some of these widgets below, if you want to see them all go to this page.
Fusion-Builder is an inline text editor which means you can write directly on the page wherever you want as shown below. Nowadays all top page builders have such a text editor, but Fusion-Builder also has what it takes to keep up with the top.
FUSION-BUILDER MOBILE EDITING
Fusion-Builder can be used to work on websites via mobile. Despite everything working properly, I would never do this because it is very inconvenient compared to working via desktop. An exception would be if I was on the road and suddenly noticed errors in an important site. All top page builders can do this by the way.
FUSION-BUILDER: TEMPLATES LIBRARY
We are talking about a library of over 120+ pre-processed sections and elements. In addition, Avada also offers 85+ complete demo websites. This is something that both good themes and page builders have in their arsenal these days. However, the numbers at Avada are quite large.
It is a bit more difficult to calculate speed with page builders than with themes. What we can do here is check the speed of the Fusion builders theme website. The results of this test at GtMetrix are below. These are very good numbers which means to me that their programmers know a lot about optimizing for speed.
FUSION-BUILDER & WOOCOMMERCE
Like the best-selling page builders like Elementor Fusion-Builder has a Theme Builder. Allows you to customize parts of the layout that should look the same on all pages. This includes the footer, the header and any additional sections that you want to see on all pages.
FUSION-BUILDER & AVADA THEME
Of course, as mentioned before, you get the Fusion-Builder in the Avada Theme. Not me personally, but there are quite a few people who think that it is one of the best Wordpress themes. It must be said that the theme is certainly not bad and very versatile. It offers a dashboard with maybe 1000 settings, pop ups, everything can be customized, most things can be styled by yourself such as search pages, 404 pages, footers, headers, and portfolio post layouts. If you work with the Fusion-Builder, you automatically have all of that included. Read all about the Avada Theme here.
FUSION-BUILDER REVIEW CONCLUSION
Despite the fact that the page builder is quite okay, the price is very high, namely 60 dollars per website on which you want to install it. That is unfortunately the case with everything that is sold through Themeforest. Definitely recommended, but expensive and of course there are better pagebuilders than Fusion.
UX-BUILDER VS FUSION-BUILDER CONCLUSION
Thank you for reading my UX-Builder vs Fusion-Builder comparison to the end. These page builders have a lot in common and can be called both very good. They are both in a good theme and are not available separately. The Fusion-Builder has more features and elements to offer and is therefore considered the better page builder for me.
