Salient vs Bridge, we perform a test with these 2 popular themes. We compare them on the number and quality of their demos, page builders, number of settings, and loading speed. Both enjoy a very good rating and sales figures for several years on the Themeforest marketplace. Which of these themes will score better?
BRIDGE THEME (Salient vs Bridge)
Bridge is one of the most successful themes on Themeforest. It has had a solid place in the top 10 since its first release in 2014. In total, it has now been sold 192.933+ times for a price of $ 59. The theme's rating is 4.78 out of 5 and there were 6,053 paying customers who gave it a rating. That is a very high rating, although there are also themes such as Astra that score 4.99. The Astra theme is not on Themeforest I have to say.
That high rating is due to an excellent support department, the beautiful and quick to install demos, the 2 page builders including Elementor since the last upgrade and the theme just looks very good on all different devices. Overall a top theme with many more qualities that we will now discuss individually.
Bridge review (Premium WP-Theme)
As mentioned, Bridge has more than a good rating, for example the two page builders it offers and not the least there are. The best is the Elementor page builder that appears more and more often in the top themes as is the case here. This page builder's premium version costs $ 99 a year, but you get it for free in Bridge (free version). In addition, the WP Bakery Pagebuilder also costs about $ 60 Themeforest (one-off plus six months support).

The theme offers various nice extras for the shops, such as quick view and wish list. If you are going to build a shop I would rather choose OceanWP or Flatsome which offer many more features.
Bridge Portfolios and Blogs
Regarding portfolios, you can choose from 7 different list layouts and 7 single layouts. The portfolios come with hover animations and you can determine the number of columns yourself. All this together is more than above average when it comes to portfolios. Bridge also does not come up short in terms of choice of blog layouts. Beautiful masonry layouts and vertical loop layouts.
Other nice features that the theme offers are: choice of 600+ Google fonts, 80+ shortcodes, translation ready with complete RTL support, testimonials, sticky header, call-2-action buttons, CSS 3 animations, Ajax page transitions, infographics and counters , Font Awesome and Font Elegant icon packs and social buttons.

To start with, before the start of this Salient Theme review, I have to tell you that the theme has been in the top of the best-selling themes for years now on Themeforest.net. Okay, currently in 11th place, and highest ranking ever maybe in 4th place. There are much better sold themes but Salient has absolute top features that we will take a closer look at.
As a matter of fact, buyers are more enthusiastic about the theme than they are about any other theme. It has an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on 5700 ratings. For a premium theme with many options, it is a super-fast loading theme. The builders of Salient are currently claiming one Google Pagespeed a score of 97%, we will come back to this in a moment.
Salient Pagebuilder Editing

Themes have to keep up with the times, of course, all toppers have frontend pagebuilders with Thrive Architect with the most impressive I think, followed by Divi and Elementor. Like every self-respecting theme Salient has beautiful easy to import layouts. At the time of writing it says on their site that it concerns 285+ demo layouts. A nice number but not a leader in this area. The layouts do give a very good impression and in the end 1 layout is enough so we will not give any negatives for this in this review for Salient.
Salient Theme: Lazy loading
Lazy loading means that images are not immediately shown in their full resolution. They appear immediately but cloudy and slowly pull up. This ensures that other elements on the page load faster and the entire website is visible to visitors much earlier. Normally people use a plugin or a CDN service for this, but with Salient this is not necessary although there is nothing better than a professional CDN-service if you want a super fast website.

We have raised the main plus points of the theme and there are few minus points. This can be seen from the extremely high rating that buyers of the theme gave it. Bridge comes with both WP-Bakery and Elementor, and Salient only with WP-Bakery Pagebuilder. Elementor is much better and with Bridge you can upgrade in an instant to the best page builder there is namely Elementor Pro. And since Bridge also offers the nicer and many more demo designs, the choice is easy for me. Salient is a very good theme, but only 1 can win. Incidentally, I would only use Bridge if it is only for 1 website.
In case you have to provide several websites with a theme, these themes are much too expensive. That is because these themes require a separate license of $ 60 for each website. Even from 2 websites that is way too expensive when you realize that the best theme I know is the Divi theme costs only $ 89 and can be used on as many websites as you wish.
