The-7 Theme review

In this The-7 Theme review we discuss all the plus and minus points of The 7. The7 was released in September 2013 by Dream-Theme. This great theme has until [2023] been sold 273.569+ times and has a rating of 4.75 out of 5 (7476 ratings) on Themeforest, there are few themes with a better average rating.

New: Elementor integration

Another top theme that has chosen to cooperate with the Elementor page builder. Not a bad idea because Elementor is of course one of the best pagebuilders out there for WP. Definitely an improvement for the theme. It is nevertheless best to upgrade to the PRO version of Elementor.

The7 review: 1000+ theme options?

The-7 theme is one of the most versatile you can imagine. I have not checked them, but according to Dream-Theme, The7 has more than 1000+ theme options and 250+ page options as shown in the image below.

Shortcodes

The theme uses a full version of the WP Bakery pagebuilder, this plug-in takes care of the use of the short codes. This sought after pagebuilder costs a whopping 64 dollars. In The7 there are almost $ 200 worth of extra third-party plug-ins. In principle, one should always keep theme and shortcodes separate from each other. In this way the shortcodes still work after installing a new theme. With The7 this is not possible unless you purchase the plug-in separately later for $ 64. Adding shortcodes via the WP Bakery pagebuilder is very simple on the other hand.

Extra plug-ins

As a writer of this The-7 review, I was also impressed by the many free plug-ins in the theme. So this concerns the WP Bakery pagebuilder, but also the best add-on for it: Ultimate Add-ons. Furthermore you get Convert Plus (Pop-ups), Go Pricing and Slider Revolution 6. The Slider plug-in is my favorite when it comes to sliders and works extremely accurately, you can set the slides for all devices such as laptop or mobile.

Design Wizzard

Something few premium themes even offer is a Wizzard that lets you set all sorts of things such as header, footer, logo and so on. This is of course perfect for people who have never created a website, you can forget so little.

Import functions

The import function lets you install complete demo websites complete with images and slides. But the Importer is also able to import a single page of a demo via the URL you specified. You can use a few pages of different demos in your own design. Most themes that I know cannot do this.

Compatible with WPML

WPML-translation supported

Ready for translation with WPML with which you can create multilingual websites. The theme itself is already available in 10 different languages so you do not have to translate these languages yourself, only your own content.

The theme is compatible with all known plug-ins including for example: WooCommerce, WPML, Yoast SEO, All in One WP Migration, W3 Total Cache and more.

The7 theme review final words

There is about this beautiful theme which is practically always discounted and available for only $ 39 much more to tell of course. But if your interest is aroused, you can use the button below to take a look at the theme page on Themeforest where everything is explained in scents and colors.

UNCODE THEME (Uncode vs The7)

Uncode is currently in the top 10 most sold on Themeforest...

Uncode Theme review

UNCODE THEME REVIEW

Today in this Uncode Theme review for [2023] we will take a look at why the theme is so popular and has been sold 75,000 times in a short time. Do not confuse that score with free themes, as much higher numbers are a lot easier to achieve. Uncode claims to be a Woocommerce theme of itself, mainly aimed at building web shops, but that would be short of the theme. This is a fully-fledged multipurpose theme with web shops as a specialty.

UNCODE WEBSHOPS

Uncode is an absolute top theme when we talk about Woocommerce compatibility, everything has been thought of. The Uncode theme has all the gadgets that one can expect from an adult webshop. Single product pages can be fully customized, just like the Cart and Check-out pages. The theme has a Quick-view, Side-cart, Wishlist and much more.

UNCODE LOAD SPEED

Another thing that was considered during the development of Uncode is loading speed, the theme is quite fast as can be seen in the image below with a GT-Metrix speed test. Mobile loading times were also considered, as the theme rescaled all images to the correct format for all types of devices. For example, small images are loaded on mobile and large images on desktop.

UNCODE FRONT-END EDITOR

Uncode works with WP-Bakery pagebuilder, which I am honestly less fond of, but the new front-end editor is of course more than okay. A lot of themes like this suddenly have Elementor as a page builder in new upgrades, and I think we don't have to wait long for this at Uncode. Of course we prefer to work with the best editors out there, which are Elementor Pro or the Divibuilder.

UNCODE FREE PREMIUM PLUG-INS

Finally, in this Uncode Theme review I would like to talk about the many premium plug-ins that the theme offers. WP-Bakery costs around $ 65 on its own and you get an upgraded version of it here. I am not going to list them all, but striking are also the 2 incredibly good and quite expensive slider plug-ins, namely Revolution Slider and LayerSlider. See image below.

UNCODE THEME REVIEW: PRICING

The Uncode theme costs $ 60, which seems like a great price. The fact is, if you put $ 30 on it, you Divi Theme has what is a lot better. Uncode has a license for only 1 website, Divi can be used on as many sites as you want.

UNCODE THEME REVIEW: CONCLUSION

Uncode is certainly one of the better premium themes out there, but unfortunately it does not reach the real top. It cannot be denied that it is capable of producing very professional web shops. There are much better page builders that use other themes but not (yet) Uncode. Before purchasing Uncode, I would definitely take a look at my article for best themes for [2023] and pick a theme in the top of it. You can use those themes on as many sites as you want, and Uncode only on 1 website. That quickly becomes very expensive if you have multiple websites.

UNCODE VS THE7 CONCLUSION

First of all thank you for reading this Uncode vs The7 comparison till the end. Both themes are 100% compatible with Elementor page builder, which is great, although both themes also offer options for other page builders. If you have the money to install Elementor Pro I would do, the difference between free and pro is very big. The7 is a multipurpose theme with a lot of settings, one has to love this, some hate it because sometimes things are so hard to find. Uncode loads a lot faster than The7 and is also very versatile and easy to customize. Both themes are definitely worth their money if it is bad for 1 single website.

In case you want to provide 2 or more websites with a theme, I advise against both these themes because then it will be much too expensive since a separate expensive license will be needed for each website. In that case, you're much better off Astra or Divi as it saves you money on multiple sites. In addition, these latter themes are ranked higher in my top 10 themes for [2023] than The7 and Uncode.
