Did Elementor turn into a scamming company? 💥
Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Elementor and Hello Theme after my recent experience with this company. Support couldn't be worse, I recently had to wait 19 days for an answer to an email I sent them. The latest is that they are outright robbing their affiliate marketers with a new system. I explain this further below. Thieves are thieves to me and I would under no circumstances let my credit card details get into the hands of Elementor.

There is a great Alternative to Elementor
Let's be honest, the Elementor pagebuilder is a great tool. But when you get no answers to your support questions, and you can't be sure about the safety of your credit card, there is a problem. There is an even better pagebuilder then Elementor, and this company is 100% clean with excelent support. See here how Divi is higher ranked then Elementor.
Divi is not only a pagebuilder, but pagebuilder and theme combined. The perfect combination for every web builder, but also for professional designers and developpers. The recent upgrade to Divi 5.0 and the fact that it can be used on unlimited websites makes this product way more atractive then any other page builder.
Are affiliate Marketers being scammed by Elementor from now on?
I am going to tell you a short story, and you decide.
Elementor's V1 affiliate system
I started affiliate marketing a few years ago and started writing articles for Elementor as well. In the beginning, one never earns that much if a site does not yet have so many pages and links to a certain company. Elementor ran its own affiliate system, and everything worked fine. One could create links to any page within the Elementor website. It was also clearly indicated for new referrals from which page of my site they came. Let's just say there was nothing wrong with their system.
When I noticed that their product sold quite well, I started writing a lot more pages. My monthly earnings went from about $100 to $350 a month. I started to write ven more articles. Suddenly I wondered what was going on as I saw no more referrals for a period of about 3 weeks.
Elementor working with Partnerstack (affiliate program)
Here I found out after a real investigation that they stopped their V1 affiliate system and were now working with Partnerstack. I googled reviews for Partnerstack and stumbled on its rating of 2.4 out of 5. (I tell you immediately that I have been very happy with Patnerstack and would give them a 5 out of 5 rating.) I signed up with Partnerstack and got the links on my site working again. My opinion though, those 3 weeks that things not have been working I was robbed of a good amount of referrals. No wonder I was never informed about the new program. Everybody that does not pay attention just lose a bunch of money, and they make huge profit. Only 200 bucks times 5.000 affiliate marketers is already 1 million dollars. Well, it seems to be big business changing your affiliate system.
As things were working very good with the partnerstack program, I started writing even more articles for Elementor. My monthly income went up to about 600 dollars. For whatever reason Elementor had to changes their affiliate system a second time within half a year time though...
Elementor's V2 Affiliate System
Okay, again adjusting all the links on my sites. That while everything worked so well, and that goes for their V1 system as well as the Partnerstack program. This time we were informed and I was not suspecting of any scams going on. But that rapidly changed when the first month I made only 125 dollars with the V2 system. Second month 100 dollars. And now halfway this month I am on 49 dollars.
Sales from other companies have gone up, it is the best time of the year. So why did my income with Elementor drop from an average of 600 dollars to an average of 120 dollars? I smell a big bullshit. Things are not right here. What do you think?
UPDATE
After redirecting all links to Elementor to this page you are reading now a few weeks ago, it is normal that I have no merit there anymore. However, they are still able to nibble off the 400+ dollars I owed (see screenshot below). Minus $139 in 2 weeks, hahaha. You tell me, are these a bunch of bandits or not?
