Thrive architect review

In this Thrive Architect review we discuss this new acquisition in the top of the page builders. We are talking about a page builder who can measure itself with Divi and Elementor that originated from the Thrive plugin for Content Builder. This immensely popular plug-in has therefore been replaced by the page builder. Dragging and dropping this front-end WYSIWYG page builder did not suddenly fall out of the sky, although it is certainly a newcomer.

Thrive Architect tabellen

Install Thrive Architect in any theme and use the page builder to build your website. Thrive Architect can also be used independently, there are quite a few demo pages (325+) with which you can make a quick start or you can start building your site "from scratch". Above you can see in the animation immediately how well organized and pleasant Thrive Architect does its work. The page builder offers so many elements and settings that you have to get used to before you can work with them at full speed.

Thrive beautiful tables templates

Thrive Architect table-templates

The Thrive Architect page builder has very nice tables, there are 10+ different styles to choose from.

Thrive check responsiveness

Thrive shows you what the site will look like on mobile and tablet. Individual adjustments can be made for the different devices or you can set the widget to "off" on certain devices.

Thrive beautiful contact forms

Thrive Architect contact forms

As with the tables above, contact forms are already built into the Architect as standard. Within a few minutes you have adapted such a template to your data and wishes. It is important to disable other contact form plug-ins or remove them from your website.

The Thrive Architect user interface

Thrive Architect user interface

Despite the fact that in this Thrive Architect review we find that there are too few ready-made demo pages in their product, we must say that the page builder in itself is a true pleasure to work with. The user interface works very well-arranged, and you can work with it very precisely.

This page builder puts pages on paper in minutes if you have some experience with them. From now on, writing texts is more work than creating the website itself. The editor is full width, or uses the full width of your screen. The different toolbars can be used as a dock, the Navigator can even float on your screen.

Thrive Architect full width

You can pick up elements from such a dock or sidebar elements and leave them on your worksheet with drag & drop. The number of elements and the things that can be done with it is quite overwhelming, but well nothing can be missing otherwise we would complain about that. Elements on your worksheet can be rescaled, dragged or moved until you are satisfied. You can start writing anywhere on your worksheet, the text editor is inline and does not use the so-called screens for writing.

The best inline texteditor

Thrive Architect inline text-editor

Thrive Architect has the best text editor of all the elite page builders there are for Wordpress. If you want to work relaxed and earn money with your website, Thrive is a very good choice. Both Divi and Elementor naturally also offer very good text editors, that must be said.

Thrive Architect latest upgrades

In the video above you can see what has recently been improved in Thrive Architect. Thrive does not stop improving its products and their page builder is so good right now.

Revision manager

Thrive Architect Review Revision manager

The Thrive Architect revision manager has the unique feature that you can use undo and redo via buttons on your PC keyboard. The revision manager also works just like that of Divi and Elementor. You can use it continuously to earlier times when you saved work. You will never have to do anything new again, all your work will be saved.

Thrive Architect options and settings

On the image above you see a menu for the options at the top. With similar options grouped, searching for a particular option that you need has become much easier.

Side menu advanced options

In the side menu you can choose "advanced" at the bottom, so additional options appear. Most elements have hidden advanced options. It differs per element, but you can, for example, set margin and fill properties, settings for different devices and animation effects.

Thrive Text animations

There is nothing easier than adding text animations with Thrive Architect. Thrive keeps everything so simple that everyone will now start playing with his animations.

De Thrive Architect page elements

Thrive Architect page elements

Thrive Architect has an unprecedented number of elements that you can use, installing third party plug-ins has become absolutely unnecessary with Thrive Architect, everything has been thought of. All these elements can in turn be adjusted to your taste. Thrive emphasizes conversion in everything it does, which is reflected in the elements. They want you to earn money with your site, a great goal. Until now, this is not the case with other page builders, Thrive is unique here.

Ready-made demo pages

Thrive Architect Ready-made demo pages

There are 325+ 1-click demo pages in the Thrive Architect library. Just like the elements, these focus on call-2 action and conversion. We show you a few examples below.

Thrive Architect demo page conversion

Thrive Architect demo page conversion 2

Thrive Architect demo page conversion 3

Thrive Architect also offers normal landing pages and standard company pages in addition to all the conversion material but would do well to expand this considerably which they will certainly do. I expect so many new demos with every upgrade, which is what all the top themes do.

Thrive Architect prices

Thrive Architect prices

This Thrive Architect review is slowly coming to an end, let's talk about the costs. For 1 website you pay 67 dollars, the average price for a good theme is 60 dollars. I see Thrive as more than just a good theme and the $ 67 are okay. If you have several sites, you can operate them with the Architect for $ 97 a year, which is suddenly very cheap on average, so a good deal.

A membership costs you 228 per year, even though there is a monthly amount, one cannot pay per month. For this you get much more than just the Architect, many high-quality plug-ins that we have not discussed here. I think the deal is certainly okay, and interesting for web designers who can use it to provide 25 sites to Thrive customers.

Thrive Architect review conclusion

In this Thrive Architect review it emerges that Thrive can compete with the best in the field of themes and page builders and even take the lead on some fronts. It is more than worth its money and a pleasure to work with, especially the inline text editor. I look forward to future upgrades, it will all be even better ...

THEMEFOREST (Elementor vs Themeforest)

Themeforest is a marketplace for Wordpress Themes...

Themeforest review

THEMEFOREST RATINGS

First of all, I want to say that very good themes are sold on Themeforest. Despite that, the marketplace itself is a big minus and it's rated so low it's hard to believe. See below how the marketplace only scores 1.58 out of 5 on Sitejabber. Again, the themes themselves are not to blame for this, in fact I think that the theme builders who sell via Themeforest are also dissatisfied. You can read how Themeforest built this reputation in my Themeforest Cheats article.

Themeforest Theme review ratings

THEMEFOREST THEMES

I already mentioned it above, great themes are sold on Themeforest. I myself have been a customer for more than 10 years and have certainly bought more than 100 themes in my career as a web designer. The Themeforest marketplace is so powerful that many theme builders are completely squeezed and earn very little from the sale of their theme, which is a shame. A much better way for them would be to market their themes through their own site and work with affiliates who promote their site and send people there who want to buy themes. If they pay affiliates 60% they are still better off. In the affiliate world, 50% or more is great.

AVADA

Avada Theme review

These are the 6 best-selling themes of the moment with the highlight being the Avada Theme. Follow the link to read the full review. Avada is often mistakenly (just like here lol) compared to Divi. Listen, Avada is a great theme but comparing it to Divi goes a long way. For starters, Divi is a membership with 86+ premium themes in it, premium plugins, image library and of course the awesome Divibuilder. Avada is only a theme with its own page builder that has no fame.

As a top-selling theme, Avada from Themeforest will receive a special deal, I assume, and it will not be as heavy as other themes. Still, I think they could do better on their own. Much of the hatred that Themeforest causes also ends up on Avada, which is bad for the reputation of the theme. For example, they are obliged to charge extortionate prices for support. They also cannot offer their theme in combination with other products, they have to sell a separate license for each website that someone has. That can all be done much better.

FLATSOME

Flatsome Wordpress theme review [2024]

The Flatsome Theme has come to 2nd place in the numbers for best-selling themes via Themeforest last year. The builders have worked hard on it and the theme is really perfect for building web shops, especially on Themeforest there is no competitor in that regard. Other laws apply outside Themeforest and there are certainly themes such as Divi discussed above and, for example, WP-Astra that take it one step further.

It's impossible for me to review all their themes here so if you're interested, I recommend this page with their best-selling themes.

ENVATO & THEMEFOREST

Themeforest is part of the umbrella Envato and is for Themes only. If you follow the link you will read in my article why it is a bit of a nasty business for everyone involved, for authors, buyers and affiliates. For plugins, videos and more they have other platforms that I will not go into here since we are talking about Themeforest here.

THEMEFOREST REVIEW: PRICING

Theme prices on Themeforest start as low as $19 for themes that want to make a name quickly, the most expensive theme I know is Kallyas with $69. Most are between $49-60. With this marketplace, always remember that each website of yours must have its own license. If you buy such a theme, it can only be used on 1 site.

THEMEFOREST REVIEW: CONCLUSION

A lot of very good themes are sold on Themeforest. I also buy this myself. Don't expect refunds or great support. The support for the themes themselves is in the hands of the theme builders and can simply be called fine. I want to warn affiliate marketers right off the bat that no matter how many articles you write related to this marketplace, you're never going to make much money from it.

THRIVE THEMES VS THEMEFOREST CONCLUSION

You have come to the end of my Thrive Themes vs Themeforest comparison. Thrive comes with a great page builder, but all the top themes on Themeforest also work with very good page builders such as Elementor and WP-Bakery. To be honest, I think both Themeforest and Thrive Themes are too expensive. For the same money, have Astra Pro or Divi which are much better themes and page builders and they can be used on an unlimited basis number of sites are used.
