My TikTok has no sound [2023] 💥
TikTok may be a video platform but videos without sound can be boring. While some videos can be just as funny in silence, others require sound to deliver the punchline or create the right atmosphere. The TikTok experience is going to suffer if there's no audio. There are a few quick ways to fix TikTok audio problems if you don't hear any sound from your phone or headphones.

1. Check your mute button
Make sure you check the mute switch. You might have accidentally turned the mute switch on, or forgot to turn it off. A problem can be that easy to fix sometimes.
2. Turn up the volume
Although it may seem obvious, you should check your volume settings. They are frequently altered by accident, such as when you travel or if the button is in your bag or pocket.
3. Allow microphone access
TikTok might not be able to access your microphone in some settings, so videos you record may not have sound.
- You can open Settings on your phone.
- Tap Apps and Notifications
- To see all apps installed, tap the option. Next, open TikTok.
- Check the Permissions tab to ensure that they are all correctly set.
4.Restart Android phone
Sometimes, a restart of your device can fix any problems that you might be experiencing due to a glitch in the OS. OS is responsible for maintaining all apps running smoothly, as well as many components that are shared. Sometimes, an app's problem can cause problems in other apps. Rebooting is a good way to get rid of this.
5. Test device hardware (Android)
Android phones are not the only phone with "secret" codes that allow for testing. To access the menu, dial *#7353# and then press the speaker button. The speaker button should sound a short melodic note from your device's speakers. This will confirm that it is not a hardware issue.
6. Check/Wipe cache partition
Sometimes, problems caused by an error when writing data to the cache partition can be fixed by wiping it. You will need to go into your phone's Recovery Mode in order to do this. Navigate to the recovery menu using your volume buttons. Next, select "wipe cache partition". Press the Power button to reboot your phone.
7. Update for TikTok
If TikTok has been updated since you installed it, it's possible that an update might resolve the issue. Check on the Google Play Store to see if an update is available and, if it is, install it. For iOS devices, go to the App Store.
8. Reinstall the TikTok app
If all else fails, then you might be able to fix the problem by deleting and reinstalling TikTok. The process will erase all data associated with TikTok on your phone but not your account. Your account will still be safe. This will remove any issues that may have arisen with your installation, such as corrupted settings. After the installation is complete, log in using your account credentials. You will be able to hear your videos again.
9. Contact TikTok helpline
TikTok might not work after you've tried every possible solution. To determine the cause of your problem and to resolve it, you will need to contact TikTok Support. These are the steps to follow:
- Get the TikTok app.
- Click on Profile in the lower left corner of your screen.
- Click the icon in the top-right.
