Flatsome vs Total Theme comparison [2023] 💥
FLATSOME THEME (Total vs Flatsome)
There are many Wordpress themes that consider themselves as the best or perfect shopping theme. One of them is Flatsome. We will be reviewing the Flatsome theme. Let's start by looking at what other people thought of Flatsome based on the reviews they submitted. They received a rating from 5576 customers, an average of 4.80 out 5. This is a very high number and explains why the theme has been sold 206.754+.

Flatsome came on the market at the end of 2013 and we are not talking about a theme in its infancy, but about themes that have been improved for 7 years and that practically have no bugs for that reason. Also, such a theme will not be taken off the market quickly, so you can enjoy it for years.
Flatsome review: Woocommerce
So Flatsome is specialized in e-commerce and mainly in collaboration with Woocommerce, the most popular Wordpress plug-in for shops. My finding is that the theme indeed has a lot to offer in this area. It is even possible to style all product pages differently as shown below and checkout pages can also be adjusted via the CMS (no coding).
Other cool shop features that Flatsome offers are wishlist, sticky header, live product-search, unlimited forms. The goal of the builders of this theme was as much functionality as possible, which is as easy to operate as possible.
Flatsome review: Headers
Another feature that impressed me while writing this Flatsome Wordpress theme review is the ease with which one changes the header. Even more impressive is the header builder with which you build your own header within a few minutes, exactly how you want it. See the 2 photos below.
Flatsome review: UX Builder
Just like Avada has its own page builder called Fusion Builder and Kallyas its Zion Builder, Flatsome has its UX Builder. These are all very good page builders that are used exclusively in their own theme. Often with such page builders you can work almost as well as with the top page builders in the market, although there are clearly fewer options.
Watch a small video below to see how the UX Builder works. The video takes only 9 minutes.
Flatsome review: SEO
We're going to talk about SEO in this Flatsome review. Below is an image where Flatsome claims to be the fastest theme on Themeforest. I wonder if that is really the case because there are many candidates for that, but at least the theme has a good loading time. If you are looking for the fastest themes out there read my article about this topic.
Flatsome review: Elements
Like all premium themes, Flatsome is full of elements that you can use on your pages through their page builder. I am not going to list them all, by looking at the image below, you will immediately know everything.
Closing comment
Of course, Flatsome can do a lot more than I have listed here in my Flatsome theme review. Take a look at their own site if your interest has been piqued. Flatsome is one of the top themes today, especially for building shops. So it is well worth the money, incidentally it also has fantastic documentation and support.
TOTAL THEME (Total vs Flatsome)
The Total Theme has been around since 2013 and has had little fame until now. After some radical improvements, the theme is now on its way to a good position in the rankings for best selling themes on Themeforest.net and automatically enjoys more fame.
Total Theme review: Rating
An average rating of 4.86 out of 5 is very good in this marketplace and in general too. It is therefore not surprising that more than 50,000+ units have been sold in the meantime. The best rating I know is 4.93 which is Divi scores and that is not on a marketplace but on Trustpilot a reliable independent rating.
Total Theme: 40+ Demo Websites
In this Total Theme review, let me start by paying attention to their demo websites. In the introduction image at the very top you can see how they advertise themselves having 40+ demo websites. Not a very high number in itself, but the fact that they indicate it shows that they are proud of it. These demos are extremely well taken care of and there are real demos for all kinds of niches of a very high quality. I show a few of them below, but feel free to view them all on their own sites.
Total Theme: Section Templates
In addition to the demo websites just discussed, there is an even larger number of section templates at your disposal. Ready-made sections that you like can be dragged into your page. The number of combinations is unlimited. In this way you save a lot of time by not having to build everything yourself.
Total Theme: PageBuilder
The theme focuses on the use of the WP-Bakery pagebuilder. This page builder has been around for so long but can still compete with the best pagebuilders. Not that I prefer it but I've worked with it a lot and in a pleasant way. Here you have the full version available, a tuned version with extra elements in it. A fine tool.
Total Theme Review: Elements
Elements are the building blocks you place in the sections and columns and make up the actual design. At the same time, many widgets are also functional. You can see the main ones in the image below.
Total Theme: Colors
The Total themes has standard color combinations that you can choose from. In addition, you can also organize the colors yourself and you have a gradient builder as shown below. Speaking of gradient builders, view here Divi's brand new gradient builder that can do much the same as the one in Photoshop.
Total Theme Review: Woocommerce
The Total Theme is 100% compatible with Woocommerce, but at first glance I don't see any fantastic extras for it like real Woocommerce themes have. If you are building a blog or a corporate site, a simple shop next to it may also suffice. I would not use the theme for a real webshop.
Total Theme review: Conclusion
Listen, this is a fantastic theme but you have to pay for it, and then you are better off with other themes on the same marketplace. They offer more value for money. If Total would lower the price a bit, it would become more attractive. If you are really looking for an elite Wordpress theme, read my best Wordpress themes for [2023].
Total vs Flatsome conclusion
First of all, thank you for reading this Total vs Flatsome comparison to the end. Both themes have impressive header builders and good page builders. Flatsome uses its own UX-Builder, Total uses a tuned version of WP-Bakery pagebuilder. With both themes you can build very professional websites and with the distinction that Flatsome is 10x better for building web shops. Regardless of which theme you buy, it is always a good choice if you are looking for a theme for only 1 website.
In case you want to provide 2 or more websites with a theme, I do not recommend both of these themes because then it will be much too expensive, since a separate expensive license will be required for each website. In that case, you can much better use Astra or Divi as it will save you money for multiple sites. In addition, these latter themes are ranked higher in my top 10 themes for [2023] than Flatsome and Total.
