Divi vs Bridge themes comparison 2020
DIVI THEME vs BRIDGE
Today we are engaged in the Divi vs Bridge comparison. Both themes are very popular and we are investigating which theme offers more value for money. Both themes have been sold continuously since 2013 and 2014, which naturally attracts attention. We will start with the Divi theme. Not because it is better, we do not know yet, this has been a random choice.
I discuss the best features of each theme, where I will not list all the small details, it should remain interesting this article. As mentioned, I discuss the themes 1 by 1 and give my total opinion at the end. Below the various points discussed, I often give a direct opinion of which theme is clearly better in that aspect.
DIVI REVIEW (Divi vs Bridge)
After successfully launching in 2013, Divi quickly gained popularity. Who would have thought they would sell so many subscriptions. At the moment no less than 701.000 pieces. Many of them are worth $ 249 lifetime. You see this is a million dollar business. Apparently many people agree that this is a wonderful offer and I can immediately join. You will not only get Divi, but much more that I will come back to later.
This theme works hand in hand with Woocommerce, the most popular plug-in for web shops. Divi offers a special shop module that you can install if you are going to build a webshop! I can't explain it better than Elegant Themes itself so watch the video below and you will immediately know everything. Takes only 10 minutes.
What characterizes the Divi theme?
The continuous improvements and expansion of Divi's features and settings have made Divi popular with a wide audience, from laymen to pro website builders. Divi has many functions but it can also be kept simple, they do not all have to be used.
Divi vs Bridge page builders
One point we should definitely talk about in this Divi vs Bridge review is their page builders. Divi comes with the Divibuilder, a top page builder. Bridge comes with the UX drag & drop page builder, also a good page builder although the 2 cannot be compared. Divi clearly scores better here. If you are interested in what the best page builder for Wordpress is, read my article on that topic.
Divi 4.0 Review video
To quickly get an impression of the improvements since Divi 4.0, it is a good idea to quickly watch the video below, which takes 4 minutes.
Over time, Divi has grown from a back-end page builder to a thoroughbred front-end WYSIWYG page builder with inline text editor. While working on your website, you will always see a live preview of what the page will look like. Each item is clickable and customizable. Incidentally, the addition of the history editor in Divi is a great asset (pictured below).
Divi: Drag & Drop
Elements can be dragged within the editor using drag & drop, sections can be scaled (also with your mouse) and so you quickly build the layout for your page that you had in mind. (shown in video)
Also the ability to copy sections or elements and export them yourself to other sites is great. All in all, the Divibuilder has quickly grown into a super tool to get pages out of the ground. You can easily create sections and columns that you fill with the large number of elements (46 modules) that Divi has to offer.
Divi Fonts and Text Styling
Being able to adjust more than 600 different fonts in every possible way? This is possible with the Divi text editor. Almost as many options as in a program like Photoshop. There are more page builders with good editos, but the Divi editor is the crown here.
For Divi, in addition to the elements you will find in the editor such as sliders, forms, buttons, text, video, images, price tables, and the like, there are also a lot of third-party plugins on the market that offer extra functionality. Divi contains everything, but for very specific things you can sometimes use a special plug-in.
Divi vs Bridge: Ready lay-outs en templates
The Divi Builder already offers +800 layouts and +100 website packages. Many will be added here in future upgrades. From these packages and layouts you can combine exactly those pages that you like and thus build your own website. All you have to do is replace everything with your own photos, texts, logo, et cetera.
You can make all your adjustments using the Divi Builder since these pre-made layouts were made with it. The Divi Builder gives you complete control over your entire website. Everything can be adjusted very quickly and with precision. After you have done your job, it is wise to save everything so that you cannot lose it. That is also one of the options that Divi offers.
Divi Leads split-test tool
During our review of Divi theme vs Bridge, we had to note that there are several options in Divi that Bridge does not have, such as the Divi Leads split test tool that has been standard since version 2.7. With Divi Leads you can view different versions of a specific page or section on your website and see which version is more popular with your audience. Also think of different call-2 actions, buttons, images and the like.
So we call this split testing. Besides Divi, I believe that only Thrive Architect has split testing in his page builder and for Elementor there is a plug-in for that. It is also called A-B testing by the way.
In any case, a higher conversion is achieved with this. One no longer has to guess what works better, the facts are presented. I assume this function will soon be in all top themes and page builders.
All settings for menu navigation, advertisements, social media, responsiveness, posts, Woocommerce can be found in the extensive Divi theme options panel. There are many more settings, I'm not going to list them all but there are for your SEO, layout, updates and more. The settings are divided into groups so that they are easy to find for you.
Transferability between websites
By transferability we mean being able to import and export between websites. With Divi it is very easy to use your work on multiple Wordpress sites with the Divi theme. This applies not only to your work, but also to your settings and layouts. Web designers save so much work by not having to reset or build everything all the time.
An Elegant-Themes membership gives you access to all of their products including Divi and costs $ 89 per year. Elegant-Themes has 86 other themes and many plug-ins. This is certainly a good deal, but it may be a lot cheaper to get a lifetime membership right away for $ 249. In any case, Divi offers a 30-day money-back guarantee so you can try it risk-free.
Divi vs Bridge: Divi summary
Divi is suitable for everyone, no HTML or PHP knowledge is required. It is packed with options and settings. The page builder is a pleasure to work with. A good design is quickly set up with the demo sites and a little bit of work. The prices are good to low for the quality they get.
BRIDGE THEME (Divi vs Bridge)
In this Divi vs Bridge comparison we'll now continue with the Bridge Theme. Bridge is one of the most successful themes on Themeforest. It has had a solid place in the top 10 since its first release in 2014. In total, it has now been sold 137,000 times for a price of $ 59. The theme's rating is 4.78 out of 5 and there were 6,053 paying customers who gave it a rating. That is a very high rating, although there are also themes such as Astra that score 4.99. The Astra theme is not on Themeforest I have to say.
That high rating is due to an excellent support department, the beautiful and quick to install demos, the 2 page builders including Elementor since the last upgrade and the theme just looks very good on all different devices. Overall a top theme with many more qualities that we will now discuss individually.
Bridge review (Premium WP-Theme)
As mentioned, Bridge has more than a good rating, for example the two page builders it offers and not the least there are. The best is the Elementor page builder that appears more and more often in the top themes as is the case here. This page builder's premium version costs $ 99 a year, but you get it for free in Bridge (free version). In addition, the WP Bakery Pagebuilder also costs about $ 60 Themeforest (one-off plus six months support).
As shown below, Bridge has very nice demos in its library of no less than 480 copies. It is sometimes confusing with demos because some themes talk about separate pages, others about complete demo sites. The latter is the case here and that is really a lot.
One does not have to be an expert to be able to start his new website with one of these demos. In the wide choice of demo websites that Bridge offers, has layouts for every niche imaginable.
All these layouts are made with the page builders and with this you can also quickly adapt them to your own house style and content. If you still can't figure it out, you can always consult the extensive collection of video tutorials on their Youtube channel.
Bridge Woocommerce webshops
Like all themes in the top 20 and more, Bridge is built on a perfect collaboration with Woocommerce. That is the Wordpress webshop plug-in that practically everyone uses and I have been doing the same for years. There is nothing better. The theme offers various nice extras for the shops, such as quick view and wish list. If you are going to build a shop I would rather choose OceanWP or Flatsome which offer many more features.
Bridge Portfolios and Blogs
Regarding portfolios, you can choose from 7 different list layouts and 7 single layouts. The portfolios come with hover animations and you can determine the number of columns yourself. All this together is more than above average when it comes to portfolios. Bridge also does not come up short in terms of choice of blog layouts. Beautiful masonry layouts and vertical loop layouts.
Other nice features that the theme offers are: choice of 600+ Google fonts, 80+ shortcodes, translation ready with complete RTL support, testimonials, sticky header, call-2-action buttons, CSS 3 animations, Ajax page transitions, infographics and counters , Font Awesome and Font Elegant icon packs and social buttons.
Bridge Theme review conclusion
You have come to the end of my Bridge Theme review. It has become clear that the Bridge theme can be used for all types of websites and is also extremely suitable for shops. The theme looks very good on all possible devices and working with the theme is pleasant and simple, especially with Elementor. There are practically no weaknesses and the theme is well worth the $ 59 requested.
Bridge vs Divi closing comment
You have come to the end of my Divi vs Bridge comparison. It has become clear that the Bridge theme can be used for all types of websites and is also extremely suitable for shops. The theme looks very good on all possible devices and working with the theme is pleasant and simple, especially with Elementor. There are practically no weaknesses and the theme is well worth the $ 59 requested.
Divi offers just that little bit more in every respect, with the exception of the many demo websites that are in Bridge. Divi also has a number of features that are missing in Bridge. Price wise, Divi is on average one of the cheapest themes on the market as you get not only one theme, but 86 premium themes included in the membership, plus great plugins. In my opinion the best option is to take Divi for the rest of your life at the price of 3 normal years. You will never have to buy anything again to build websites and shops.
